Rick Geissman, Former Co-Head of ACA’s NFA Division, Joins Apogee

Austin, April 15, 2024 – Today, Apogee announces the arrival of Managing Director and Head of the NFA Division, Rick Geissman. Mr. Geissman is a seasoned 25-year veteran with an exceptional pedigree as a regulator, in-house compliance professional, and consultant.

The relationship between Mr. Geissman and Scott Brindley, Apogee’s Founder and Managing Partner, began in 2001 while they were both working as NFA examiners. After leaving the NFA, Messrs. Brindley and Geissman started ACA Group’s NFA Practice in 2010 and co-led the group for 10 years, including during the tumultuous aftermath of the Dodd-Frank legislation. Now, the partnership continues at Apogee, which, with the addition of Mr. Geissman is arguably the best in the business with a combined 50 years of CFTC/NFA experience.

When asked about the arrival of Mr. Geissman, Mr. Brindley said, “It took some time, but my partner-in-crime has indeed arrived, and I’m ecstatic about it. Rick is a very welcome addition to the team. Our reunion feels great, and we are expecting big things for our clients and Apogee – the breadth of knowledge and level of service at Apogee is second to none.”
